Conf. Dr. Ing. Anghel Ana Magdalena a absolvit Facultatea de Automatică și Calculatoare în anul 1997 și a obținut titlul de doctor inginer în anul 2012 cu teza intitulată „Tehnici avansate de diagnoză cu aplicații în supravegherea parametrilor de mediu”. În anul 2004 a obținut diploma de master cu specializarea în „Calitate, fiabilitate și mentenanță, securitate și risc în ingineria electronică” la Facultatea de Electrotehnică. Autoare și coautoare a 5 cărți, peste 30 de articole la congrese, conferințe, simpozioane naționale și internaționale, precum și 3 rapoarte de cercetare. Membră a grupului de cercetare 3D UPB.
